For Schools
A Different Kind of Contract
Most districts fill Speech-Language Pathology needs through staffing agencies, often at a premium, with limited continuity and little say in who walks into the building. TriBury Speech Therapy offers a direct alternative: one experienced, highly credentialed clinician, contracted straight to your district, without the markup or the turnover.
30 Plus Years With Grades Pre-K Through Post High-School Graduation
Three decades of pediatric, school-based experience, including more than three years of direct work within vocational and transition programs at Regional School District 15, Plainville Community Schools, EdAdvance’s ACCESS Program, and the Highroad School of Wallingford. This range means seamless support, from early elementary language foundations through the transition-age skills students need to leave school prepared for the workforce.
A Language-Based Lens on Executive Function
Many schools address executive function through general strategies: planners, checklists, and organizational apps. What is often missing is the underlying language processing those strategies depend on, including sequencing, verbal working memory, and the ability to organize and narrate one’s own thinking. This work draws on the clinical and research literature connecting language processing to executive function, including the narrative and metacognitive frameworks developed by researchers such as Carol Westby, PhD, CCC-SLP, rather than a single packaged curriculum, allowing for differentiation based on what each student, classroom, or building actually needs.
