Specialized Support for Schools
TriBury Speech Therapy partners directly with school districts seeking experienced, focused support without a traditional staffing arrangement. Services are available for speech-language evaluations and reevaluations, language-based executive-function support and consultation with educational teams. Contracts may be structured around an individual student, a defined project or a short-term district need.
Three decades of pediatric and school-based experience across preschool through post-graduation programs, with particular depth in middle and high school, vocational and transition settings. This breadth of experience supports practical recommendations that connect communication needs with academic participation, independence and preparation for adult life.

A Language-Based Lens on Executive Function
Executive-function difficulties are often addressed through planners, checklists and organizational tools. However, successfully using those tools depends on underlying language abilities such as sequencing, verbal working memory, self-monitoring and the ability to organize and explain one’s thinking.
TriBury applies a language-based lens to identify where communication demands may be interfering with planning, organization, task completion and independence. Support is informed by clinical and research literature rather than a single packaged curriculum, allowing recommendations to be individualized for the student, classroom or program.
Services Available to Districts
TriBury Speech Therapy approaches each evaluation with the goal of providing the educational team with a clear, balanced and comprehensive understanding of the student’s communication needs. Assessment findings are informed by multiple sources of data, including standardized and informal measures, educational records, classroom performance, observations and input from the student’s family and educational team.
Evaluations are conducted in accordance with applicable Connecticut special education requirements, federal IDEA provisions and district procedures. Recommendations are individualized, educationally relevant and developed with consideration for the student’s documented needs and the practical demands of the school environment.
Evaluation reports provide the Planning and Placement Team with objective information to assist in determining whether a communication disorder adversely affects the student’s educational performance and whether specialized instruction, related services, accommodations or other supports may be warranted. Final eligibility, programming and service decisions are made collaboratively by the student’s PPT.

Credentials
Connecticut-licensed and ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist (CCC-SLP) with a current Connecticut Professional Educator Certificate in speech and language pathology. CPR certification and required school-based safety, mandated-reporting and compliance trainings are current. Also serves as a Clinical Fellowship mentor, providing structured supervision, clinical guidance, and professional support to a new graduate completing the Clinical Fellowship experience.
